Capital Consulting & NANI partners in promoting Cape Verde


Nani, the famous Portuguese / Capeverdean football player from Manchester United have just signed a contract for the promotion of the investments handled by the capeverdean consultancy; marketing and Investment Company named Capital Consulting.


With the signing of this exclusive contract Capital Consulting (CC) will be allowed to exploit Nani’s image and appeal, for marketing purposes to advertise the investments of their responsibility. A major deal for the young entrepreneurs ahead of CC considering that Nani is an internationally known athlete and one of the brightest young stars in the world of Football.

Amongst the investments represented by CC is the 14 square km Real Estate & Tourism integrated Project named “Cesaria Resort” that is to be built in São Vicente Island, by CC Dubai based Group partner Profile Group, which is going to be one of the biggest investments ever made in Cape Verde.

With this business agreement signed with Nani, CC becomes the legal representatives of all of Nani's business interests and investments in his native country. The player was born in the nation’s capital, Praia.

Capital Consulting will be in charge of the marketing of the NANI SPORT BAR & LOUNGE brand, which is to bring a couple of lounges e bars to the archipelago. This brand will also promote sports activities for the youngsters. The opening of the first Nani sport Bar & Lounge is scheduled for the last trimester of 2009 in Sal Island.

The Football player was born on the 17th of November, 1986 in the city of Praia and was forced to emigrate with the family to Portugal at an early age, such as thousands of capeverdeans who look for emigration as a mean to escape poverty and better their lives. In Portugal Nani found the opportunity to enrol in Sporting of Lisbon Football Academy which catapulted him to stardom. He was transferred from Sporting main team to Manchester United (MU) on the first of July, 2007 where he plays side by side with world class footballers such as the also Portuguese Cristiano Ronaldo, Ryan Giggs, Wayne Rooney, Rio Ferdinand and other football stars.


Originally a left winger, Nani is in fact a versatile player who can play at any position from the midfield up. A player who combines technique with speed, this last being his primarily weapon of his vast arsenal of skills. A player from whom Sir Alex Ferguson, Man.United's main team manager (coach) is counting on to achieve greatness, and who knows, might develop to become the world’s best player such has his fellow team partner and countryman, Cristiano Ronaldo.
